The union of the century

bck_1637Christians believe that marriage is the manifestation of the union of two separated “one”s. In Genesis, the Bible explicitly states that Eve was made out of one of Adam’s ribs. Hence, a marriage, in which a man and a woman establish a permanent relationship with each other, is the return of the “rib” to the “body” (kinda like transplant surgery). If this is true, then I had the honor to witness the union of the century, the made of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Calton. (more…)

Four Twenty, A Great Day

bck_1239There are lots of great stories that happened on the most glorifying day of the year: April 20th. The most adorable leader of all times, Adolf Hitler was born on this day. China removed homosexuality from its list of mental illnesses on this day. Failure of the Bay of Pigs Invasion of US troops against Cuba happened on this day. Apollo 16 landed on the Moon on this day. It’s also a good day for smoking pots. But what truly separates this day from all others is the event of the birth of this particular individual: .

Thesis Presentation

bck_1221If you have ever received a legitimate higher education, you will know what it means to be a senior. Graduate applications, job interviews, 400-level class finals, state certificate exams, your-girlfriend-wants-to-break-up-with-you-and-you-have-to-deal-with-it issue, and the worst of all, thesis presentation. When I was a little kid I had a dream of being able to play one of these gigantic pianos. But finally I find myself lacking the discipline to do such things. Thanks to my dad, his awesome audiophile equipment enabled me to experience the true meaning of without needing to go to a (not a single mp3 player can give you such good sound quality). (more…)
